Celebrating Acts of Kindness
Week of Kindness 2017
From June 5th-June 9th, 2017, more than 500 agents in 24 KoenigRubloff offices will be participating in a company-wide Week of Kindness event, in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation. Each office has organized their own activities to volunteer their time and services to an organization in their respective communities. This year, Week of Kindness events include a shoe drive, food and clothing drives, book drives and organizing books at Bernie’s Book Bank, assembling blankets for the Linus project, volunteering at the Greater Food Chicago Depository, making meals and cookies at the Ronald McDonald House, spending time with residents at the Lakeview Rehab Center, Glenkirk Home, and Anixter Center, volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, making dinner at PADS, lending a hand at the Little City Foundation homes, helping out for Meals on Wheels, and volunteering for PAWS.
About the Foundation
The kindness and generosity of our agents is reflected in charitable initiatives
Thanks to the generosity of our agents and employees, we have announced $75,000 in total for a 2016 grant that will go to the Sunshine Kids and Habitat for Humanity. Read all about our current activities in our Winter 2017 Newsletter.
Fundraising & Volunteering
As real estate professionals we believe in creating opportunities for homeownership. Working with Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity, the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation was able to help our first family move into a home in Spring 2014!
Each year we raise funds to also support Sunshine Kids. This non-profit organization, dedicated to children with cancer, provides positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids offer a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
